Question, are companies starting to due without the owners manual for travel trailers? Purchased a new T.T. but it does not have a manual, they checked another T.T. and no manual I call the company and she told me I can send you on via mail. Email? I said..:h

I got a "sort of" manual with our TT. I took the info from each appliance etc. I the went on every manufacturers web site and DLD the manual for each item and placed the pages in a large notebook for future reference.

Ours came with a printed manual, like others generic for the entire model line. I skimmed through it right after we bought and have not looked at it again. Same the trailer before that.

And save the paper! Download it and keep it on your phone or tablet.

The manual that came with our keystone is useful........in an outhouse maybe.

I downloaded , printed and bound all the manuals for our trailer components.

x2

our first TT was a forest river wildwood. it did have a nicely computer printed list of the appliances, model numbers and serial numbers for them.

current TT is a keystone
that same page with the keystone has a handwritten list of appliances, model numbers and serial numbers. looks like a 1st grader wrote it. i can't read 80 percent of them. i found the models and serial numbers myself

what i also did was use my iphone to photo the model numbers of slide motors, electric stablizers, awning motor, etc and went to manufacturer sites and downloaded manuals to store in a folder for fast reference

You'll never get what doesn't exist - a manual for your specific model. At best it will be a next-to-useless generic manual that applies to the brand in general along with individual information sheets for the various appliances.

When we bought our new TT a couple of years ago, we received a stack of manuals for awnings, axles, appliances, smoke alarm, toilet, etc. To get the generic Coachmen manual I had to go to their website.

Manuals have been replaced with PDF's. Go to the website of the appliance you need the manual for and it shouldn't be too hard to find.

The manual that came with our TT was / is useless. Any questions I had (or still have!) about the TT have been answered on these forums.

Monaco has a generic manual that is good for all their RVs.

When I first bought a travel trailer I found that the company who built it had gone out of business (RVision).

I called Monaco and got their printed version of the manual. It pretty much covered all the systems I had on my trailer.

Keep in mind that your manual, if you even get one at all, will not look like your car's owner manual that is specifically made for your car's make and model. It will be very generic. It may cover some systems that your RV may not have.

Our new trailer came with the owners manuals for all the systems but nothing that really tells you how everything works together. Pacific Coach Works put a generic company manual in too covering every single item they offer 90% of which is not on most trailers and very vague.

I just had to figure it all out myself.

I bet the dealer has the full package including owner's manual and all appliance documents and warranty cards.
