Horrible tire wear in 2 years

I bought a forest river v cross 28 vbh 2 years ago this month. Today I went out to do my summer maintenance and noticed horrible wear to the inside of my tires 3 of the 4 tires is bald on the inside, one is down to the threads. What could have caused this? And is it possible it would be covered under warranty even though my trailer had a one year warranty?

I'm worried about what it might be, we have done very limited driving the last 2 years as family events have limited our camping time. I would say we maybe put on 3500 miles in 2 years and I bet that is stretching it.

Forest River had a batch of bad axles about that time. I know this because I haul them. Mainly noticed on the Grey Wolf but I think V-cross is built at that plant. It would show up more on tires with an all terrain tread than the standard ST tire.
Hauled out of Indiana to Alberta 1750 miles. Insides of tires would be bald at Delivery.

Now you might have a hard time now proving that. Who every looks at the trailer is going to argue that the trailer was overloaded or hitch wasn't setup properly.

Remember that tire pressures can swing significantly depending on temperature. Did you do any towing in cold weather?

Yeah I figure I'm outta luck with the warranty but I have my fingers crossed that my dealership will work with me. Good advice on the semi shop I never thought about that. I had just checked my tire pressure before my last trip and they were a few pounds low but not low enough that I'd expect wear like this and I didn't notice any unusual wear then.

Bent axles from jumping a curb or a big pot hole can do you in easily. Have the alignment checked by a reliable semi trailer repair shop. They fix stuff like this all the time. RV dealers dont

Things that can cause that include overloaded trailer, under pressure tires, and bent axles. Whatever it is, it needs to be checked out and repaired. I think it's pretty obvious that those 4 tires are done, and for sure you want it fixed before it has a chance to eat up the next 4.

As for warranty coverage, it might be worth asking, but I very much doubt you'll get it. But ya got nothing to lose by asking.
