A fairly simple way to store laundry till you go to the laundromat.

Here's the original hamper in my Cedar Creek.

2 1/2 shelves and a bag.

Here is the modification.

4 full shelf linen closet .

New hamper under linen closet.

I also took the two doors and made them into one door w/right swing for easier access to linen closet.

This is about the best solution yet! A real hamper. I wanted something that was similar where I didn't have to continuously be moving the laundry to get to other areas. Wish I had a built in. Well, I guess I do now.

Dirty laundry is a problem, cause in winter we all have things to keep us warm, then they smell like fire pit from standing around the fire. So we end up with a large load of stuff. First thing when we get back home is wash it all, and there is alot of it with 5 people. I should probably use full size hamper.

We have a laundry shoot but we find it easier to put a hamper in the second bedroom.

A lot of clever ideas, we just use a laundry bag at the end of the bed.

Our Crossroads TT had one of those laundry chutes where you opened the bedside table and dropped the dirty clothes in. I was so excited, it was the most amazing thing. Two weeks later I opened the outside door and all the dirty clothes fell out. What a surprise! I was waiting for them to be delivered by a tiny laundry person. lizzie

This is what we do.
No wasted space from using built-ins.
Just set the hamper on the toilet when taking showers.

Our Cougar has an actual "laundry chute" with a flap that lifts up next to the bed. The laundry basket sits in the pass through. Sure a lot more convenient than the mesh bag in the tub when we had our old trailer.

Our AF has a trap door on top of one of the night stands by the bed. Drop dirty laundry in to a basket below located in the front storage compartment and removed from the outside storage door. I wanted to use this area for more camping equipment but DW kiboshed that idea!! :B

Great solution. :B

In our case I added cabinet doors to the end of the bed platform so we keep a laundry basket in that area under the bed and simply toss our dirty laundry into it without having to lift the platform itself. When we get home I'll pull the basket out and take to the laundry room in the house. These are such low cost modifications one would have thought more manufacturers would include features like these. :R
