I bought a 16 denali and the dealer told me that they came a long way and that it would be a big issue if you don't get it prefect or near prefect.

Probably, the AC isn't nearly as finicky.
If this was a fiver with the AC mounted at an angle I would have reservations.

The only thing that could be affected is your refrigerator, and even then you can be a little off level.
I always hook up the night before, and just did that two nights ago, but we don't travel with the gas on so I cool the refrigerator for a half a day before, and then shut it off before we go to bed.

Short answer is the more you run the firdge off level, the shorter its life and the weaker it gets.

Dont let the comfort thing fool you. If the firdge is damaged it will do you no good to claim you were comfortable in the RV therefore the firdge just cant be hurt.

As long as it is within the comfort range for the "humans" it is close enough for Dometic, so says their manual.

QUOTE:

Leveling the refrigerator
Leveling is one of the requirements for proper operation with
absorption refrigerators. To ensure proper leveling the vehicle
needs to be leveled so it is comfortable to live in (no noticeable
sloping of floor or walls).
Any time the vehicle is parked for several hours with the refrigerator
operating, the vehicle should be leveled to prevent this
loss of cooling.
