That's only 256 owners who have actually replied in this thread so far. We have 7 TC owning friends right here in our community and have not seen one of them post their TC owning in this thread and I doubt they will as they only read it and yes, some are members with names/nicks. The bashing, flaming, and the gobs of misinformation, much of it blindly promoting the posters own owned brand of TC and/or truck turns them off big time.
I have not included DW and I in this 7 but we have been owners and users since 1965 (our 49th year) of one or more TC's at any time even with our having TT's, 5'ers, class C's or class A's at the same time. A TC is different and very special as it allows and promotes it's owners/occupants to travel, camp, explore, be in/camp in true nature, and be very comfortable in so many places other RV simply can't get to or not safely get to or experience.
4 are very long time TC owners and have a lot of experience and 3 are 5 years or less owners and they run the stuff they read on forums by one of the long time TC'ers to filter out the BS as much as they can. I'd say they are very smart in doing so as experience is what has been learned not simply uttered for any reason.
My feeling is that most posters on the forums are quite truthful and write about what they know to be factual or true but there's just too many that post purposely misleading or even dangerous type stuff or simply "whatever opinions" with nothing to support their words.
