How Much Distance From Top of Truck Cab to Cab Over of TC

Due to the Pullrite hitch eyebolts welded to my hitch rails (see pic) I'm having to raise the bed about 1.5". This is going to create a gap of 8" between the top of my cab and the bottom of the TC cab over bedroom.

How much space is normal between the the Cab and TC?

Does an 8" gap create any issues I should be concerned about?

Thanks again

NO issue what so ever...but do add Chin spoiler from SLEEPY...it works so well. Follow his exact placement instructions it makes a difference about dirt collecting on the back sides. All areodynamics.

No. As in, no, it isn't a problem and doesn't create a problem.

Looks good though.. ๐Ÿ™‚

That's pretty high. If you thought it was too high, you could add a deflector like sleepy has.

I've got at least that much room because I haul my camper on an aluminum flat bed. There's no issues with mine.

That shouldn't be a problem. Most folks install a thick pad anyway and some trucks require a lift for the camper because it would hit the truck bed rails if they didn't.
