Last weekend we headed to L'Ile D'Orléan,before the peak tourist season,200 miles from Montréal. First name Bacchus(God of wine in Greek mythology)by Jacques Cartier in 1535 it was changed in 1536, by Cartier again, to Orléan(son of Francois 1er King of France)
Just before this trip we received from Rieco Titan our stable stix and found the opportunity to try them and write a report here since a search on the forum give me no result. Last month I tried the TL wobble stopper and found that they did not work with my setup(Chalet TS116FB). Still a lot of rolling and wobblin
Right from the start installation time is longer with the stable stix since they are not permanently mounted like the TL wobble stopper. After 2 or 3 installation process it takes 15 min to complete the setup. But your effort will translate in greater stability and support of the cab over area and almost eliminate the rolling and wobbling effect. You can also install them while the camper is on the truck. Park brake on, jack down and from there the procedure is the same as of the truck.
If I have to make a complaint; The padding is not thick enough on the area that contact with the camper. Had to put protective tape to make sure no arm will be done to the side and under the camper. Aside from that, very good product for the price. $98
