My parents bought a new cedar creek 5er not to long ago , and they have a led light inside that has a magnet strip attached to the door , so as you open the door the light comes on and then off when the door is closed

Has anyone seen these? Or know where a guy can order one ? I'd like to put one in my 5er and my truck camper

You might check with the folks at www.ledtrailerlights.com

They might know what you are talking about and if it's easily obtainable.

They make magnetic switches that are 12 v. Wire it to any 12 v light

IMO, the motion LED is probably an easier and cleaner looking application.

I use a Smart 1000 DC motion detector on my outside awning area lights. I also use one of these 120VAC remote control adapter plugs from ACE HARDWARE that is real handy to have around the trailer. You can turn things on with a pocket thumper on your key chain.

My off-road POPUP has motion control lights for both front and back areas to catch them two-legged and four legged critters that come up in the middle of the night.

Always nice to have remote control of some lights around the trailers.

Hi,

I've seen them at dollar stores. I use motion detector led lights myself.
