We are seriously looking at buying a 31BHPR. It pretty much has everything we are looking for in a TT, the only cons we can think of with it is, it has curtains instead of solid doors for the bedroom and bunkhouse....that's about it.

Maybe because this one is so new, But i'm having a hard time finding any reviews or testimonials about them.

This is our first TT, i've rented a couple times and that makes us realize we want our own, we've been researching for months and have narrowed it down to this one.

Is there anyone out there that has any experience with the Bullet line that can give me their opinions?

Thanks!

I am going with 14 inch load range D tires after crunching numbers and taking into consideration all of our cross country trips with our original 14 inch load range C tires and rims without any issues at all. I would really have liked to move up to 15 inch rims and tires but too many unknowns right now with a large mess and external investigation with my employer. Still loving our Bullet as we begin season number 6. It looks and feels brand new!

No, I got them online through recstuff.com
They do look like the originals. Maybe they are.

My Premier hit 6 years old in February. So this month I decided to upgrade both rims and tires. I replaced the 14" rims with 15" rims and put new Carlisle HD tires on. There was plenty of clearance for the slightly larger tires. I took it for a test ride and I felt more composed while towing.

Also, I was tired of leaving my water pressure regulators at campgrounds so I replaced my city water inlet with one with a regulator built in. It was an easy replacement. Basically unscrewed the old one, cleaned off the old caulking and butyl tape from the camper surface. I Unscrewed the water line and screwed it onto the new inlet, put butyl tape on, and screwed the new one on. Took about 30 mins.

Is it spring yet? Time to make the to do list for this years camping. We still have our Bullet and love it but this year we will be making a change. Going to go to a long timer status which just means many months at a time to use it. So we're in the process of changing to a 5th wheel. Not a done deal yet. For anyone reading these threads, our Bullet was excellent for us for over 6 years. An overall great experience.

Same with our 2011. Still in great shape. Actually last season made 5 years we have had it so we are replacing the original tires now. We are upgrading from 14" load range C to 15" load range D on new rims. We figured we would upgrade for an added safety margin.

How does upgrading tire range and even size work? I too am getting ready to replace our original 5 year old tires which are down to the wear indicators. Can I go up in tire range a bit on the original rims? And then I have to replace the rims if I move up to size 15 tires? I plan on keeping our Bullet for another 5 seasons/years before I near retirement and we probably make our next move up the a Class A for full timing or near full timing.

Also thinking of doing the suspension upgrade, like the Dexter E Z Flex? Has anyone on here done that yet to their Bullet?

Yes, you can go to a load range D tire on the original 14" rims. Over on the Keystone forum the members explained how it is an improvement but only temporarily. I will provide the link if you are interested.

Basically, a 14" load range C tire has approx 1740 lbs capacity, a 14" load range D has an approx 2000 lb capacity, and a 15" load range D has an approx 2540 lb capacity. The GVWR of my camper is 7600 lbs and with a 10% per year degradation in capacity per tire, they warned the tires could be overloaded after a year or two.

The tires were priced within a few dollar of each other, so, the real extra cost to me was about 350.00 for 4 new aluminum rims and 1 steel rim ( spare tire ). Since we are keeping the trailer for several more years, I figured it was worth it.

Thanks Greg!

We still have original tires also but they are showing dry rot just from age than road wear. We probably should have covered them more when not in use. Interesting how many of our tires lasted so long!

I got mine and my boat trailer tires at Discount Tire.
I took the wheels off myself for the camper, it was easier for me to do that and drop them off after work and such, but took my boat trailer to them, because I had time to wait for them to do all the work.

I purchased Carlisle HD 225 75 R15 D tires online and the local vocational technical high school is going to mount and balance the new tires for free (only charge for any parts if needed). The automotive shop at the school does this. I will bring the whole trailer.

Another local tire shop charges 15.00/tire if purchased elsewhere or free mounting if the tires are purchased there. They also said they have a truck stall so I could bring the whole trailer.
