Looking online at sales videos and not seeing any outside storage??...what am I missing?

Unless you have basement model, the only place for storage is under dinette seats. or combination in slides.
This is the picture from the link above.
It is called outside storage, but looks more like inside/outside to me.
Less security, but then you can load dry goods outside and reach for them inside.

Most truck campers don’t have much outside storage. We have a 2014 Lance 992 that is very similar to the 1062. The layout is close to the same with the opposing slides but we have a wet bath, u-shaped dinette, and larger tank capacities. The doors on the passenger side are storage. They just go under the dinette seats. Ours is one long door since our dinette is u-shaped. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in a 1062 so I don’t remember if it’s like ours but we have a slide out drawer built under the floor. It’s located just inside the door and built into the step. I couldn’t find any pictures from that angle.

Although I can't comment on the outside storage, if we were to buy a new truck camper, it would be the 1062. Since we would also need a new truck, both purchases would be contingent on being adopted by the Gates family.
