Did you mean:

Would the owner of a Ford Ram pickup.......

Lol!

Our local spring Home and Garden Show is on right now. Being an exhibitor, part of my work is building and setting up our display, like a couple hundred others.

We park where we can, everyone vying for a place to park in or near the building to unload our booth materials. There is always announcements on the PA, calling out those parking against fire regulations, move this or that vehicle or you will be towed.

I sort of listen to make sure my truck isn't one of them, but don't pay a lot of attention.

Then I heard the person on the end of one of the many announcements:

Would the owner of a Ford Ram pickup....
She announced it twice!

Actually, I have a Cummins emblem on the back of my F-350 in honor of my beloved 05 3500 CTD.

It bet it had one those "Cummings" engines too.

It's comical when people that own a truck power by a Cummins engine can't spell (or pronounce) Cummins

I was on a construction job years ago when I heard the distinctive rattle of an old Cummins approaching. Didn't think much of it, another trade coming in to work on the place.

When he got close enough for me to to glance out and look, I saw an older Chevy truck driving up. But it rattled like a Dodge.

I just had to go talk to him. He lifted the hood and there it was, a nice Cummins transplant very well done.

Putting Cummins into Fords is done more than you might think. And you can swap an Allison transmission onto it too. These combos all even exist from the factories in medium duty trucks.

It isn’t non-existent, you just have to turn some wrenches.

There are kits with the bits and pieces needed to adapt and mount "things".

yep maybe if the three truck companies got together we,d have one heck of a truck. call it the GFD 1000.

That would be a nice combo! Combine all the best features of the 3. Powered by Cummins, Allison 6 speed, GM ride, nifty Ford features and good looks! :B yeah that would be a heckuva truck...
Years ago wasn't that what AMC did, buy parts from everybody and try to make them fit?
