Light over kitchen sink not working

Got home with new 2015 Keystone Bullett Permier, 19 FB, found the light over the kitchen sink is not working. I think the switch for the light is on the lens, press the lens. Can't find a switch anywhere else. All fuses are good, all breakers are on.
It's over a 2 hour drive back to the dealer and I would like to fix the light. Anyone know how to get access into the light, so I can check bulb, wiring, etc. Everything else works fine.

Just took delivery on a 19FB, I thought they had not put in a switch for the light over the sink. It is the little button on the lens. You really have to push it firmly for it to work.

On our Rocky there is the standard light over the sink with the toggle switch, but also a switch on the control panel that will shut the power off to that light only. Makes no sense to me why they would have both, but check your control panel for a switch for lights. Ours effects that one light only.

That may be one of the few things your useless booklet of trailer information may help you with.

If the fixture looks like the other lights in the trailer then figure a working light out first. After you know how it works then go after the sink light.

See if the lens slides sideways to remove it. swap it's bulb with a working bulb form another light.

LED I presume? What type of light fixture? If old style of pancake light, remove lens and you will find screws inside. For puck style, remove lens and may you find screws or some of them can be wiggled out of the hole.

If the light is under a cabinet, there usually is a hollow space where they run the wires. There may or may not be a splice in this cavity depending on how they wired everything up. Sometimes there's a lot of excess wire in the cavity and you may need to pull they wire a bit to get it to come out the hole for the light.

Could have a bad light, bad switch or bad splice near/at the light. Also, LEDs are polarized and won't work if wires are reversed. Perhaps they reversed the wires at the light. As mentioned, maybe there is a remote switch somewhere, but if you can't find one, check for power at the light. An inexpensive multi-meter is a good tool to keep in your TT.

Lights in my trailer all look the same except some have little switches, some are controlled by a separate switch. No rhyme or reason why. Look for a different switch somewhere

I would look near the inside of the entry door for a switch. That is where a lot of manufactures locate entry light switches. Just a guess

On all light covers, there should be some kind of "notch" to squeeze or get a small flat head screw driver into it to pop it open. Just use caution not to stress the plastic cover too much, work all the around the cover a little bit at a time. sounds like it might be just a bulb. Good luck!

I think I'd call the dealer on Monday before driving four hours round trip.
