Lippert Level up on a travel trailer?

Has anyone ever installed the Lippert Level up automatic levieling system on a travel trailer? I went to their website and I didn't find much info - although they have a picture of a TT with - what looks to be - the system installed on it.

Does this mean that new travel trailers DO NOT have functioning levelers either electric or hydraulic? How do you level the trailer, the old fashioned way with blocks? Not sure I can do that as I am disabled.

Just checking out an item at Jet.com and noticed they have the Mobile Outfitters Travel Trailer Leveling system (88200) for a fantastic price of $1666!

This one is manufactured by the folks Lippert brought the system from. I have the Mobile Outfitter system and it is an extremely high quality system. It was easy and (oddly enuff) fun to install. All around a first rate system.

As Mobile Outfitters (Reico Titan) can't make them anymore (per buy out agreement from Lippert), I assume these are left overs from several years ago.

Someone posted a video link on the new Lippert leveling system for TTs about a month or so ago but I can't find it and I could only find one photo of it. Based on what I saw in the video, what I don't like about it is:
- It's a Lippert product - say no more.
- Using a TT frame in the 4 corners for leveling is a bad idea.
- It uses electric stab jacks in a fore/aft direction which will result in far too much side-side motion inside a TT.
- It retracts the tongue jack as part of the leveling process. You want a tongue jack to stay down as it provides some stability and reduction in TT movement.
- It's too complicated.
- It's expensive.

No, jack, he asked for info from anyone who may have the system. All he got in the first few posts were the "forum Lippert haters", just like almost any other easy question that people here think they can splash their knowledge of nothing on the rest of us.

Lippert is like any other mfg, they've had problems, just like your Datsun!! In my opinion, having some of their stuff, they've been pretty good lately. A lot of their products now (as mentioned) are past companies that they have purchased.

Look again, and tell me where he asked for "opinions"!!!

Interestingly enough the posters that actually installed the system on a TT have positive comments vs. those with no real 1st hand knowledge that feel the need to bash Lippert just because someone mentions Lippert.
It appears to me Lippert must be doing something right. They keep expanding and no competitor has surfaced to challenge them.

My father in law just installed it on his 30ft fifth wheel. After we installed it we had a few issues getting it to level it right. Had to call customer service and they walked us through clearing the error message. They are currently on a three month cross country trip and have had no issues with it. He says it's been one of the best investments, especially when your packing up and traveling every few days.

I installed the original ground control leveling system. It was manufactured by the company that Lippert brought out to get the system they sell today.

It is a very well designed, built, and implemented system. Was easy and actually fun to install. Works great. The best upgrade I have done to my trailer.

Not sure what Lippert did to the design since the purchase. If you can find an old ground control, made by the original company, I highly recommend this it. Got my entire system new off eBay for $1600 delivered...

Just remembered the manufacturer that Lippert brought the system from was Ricoh Titan. Mine was one of the last Richo Titan Systems...very well built...and I love the functionality..
