Low water pressure (trickle)

Hello all,

Have taken out the new Koala Travel Trailer twice now, dry camping both times.

With full fresh water tanks, we are having a heck of a time getting more than a trickle out of the faucets/shower, etc. We can hear the water pump running and thought we were doing it "right", but apparently not?

Any suggestions as to what we're doing incorrectly would be appreciated. Seems like we should have at least a useable water flow...

A friend had the same problem with his new TT. For some reason there were a lot of extra hose on the suction side and had a crimp in the hose.

Filter?? Faucet screens? Sometimes construction debris gets into things.

Is it primed fully? If I have any air in my system, we get low flow or erratic bursts of water instead of a steady stream.

The hose from the tank to the pump may be kinked..Mine was and caused slow flow.
there is a screen in the tank where the intake hose is conected. That could be plugged. easy to check.

Next to your pump is probably an extra hose used to suction antifreeze. Check to make sure that valve is closed. If it open, it'll end up just sucking mostly air.

Assuming the screens are clean, plug into shore power, make sure tanks are full, and give it another try.

All faucets the same low trickle? What about when you flush the toilet?

Check and make sure that the valving is correct from the tank to the pump. Sounds like the valves are in the wrong position. Possibly the suction strainer is plugged with debris from the tank. JMO
