Magic Chef Oven pilot

Having a problem with the Magic Chef oven in my 84 Pace Arrow where the pilot light is very small and it doesn't heat the thermostat enough to ignight the oven. If I hold a lighter on it the oven will ignight but shuts off as soon as I remove the lighter. I was thinking I need a new thermostat/control for the oven. Can't find a replacement. I included a picture. Have anyone had a experience replacing one of these? Thanks!

Sand/clean the end of the probe and be sure the orifice is clean allowing a large enough flame. It's free to try

I happen to have a brand new one I got years ago. Unfornutately MC no longer makes or sells parts for your oven. Your best choice is to start shopping RV salvage yards, or bite the bulley and buy a new model.

I believe it is called a thermocouple. Try looking for that.
