My belly is sagging...

The beer belly I understand. I'm talking about the underbelly on my Rockwood. Each of the underbelly panels seem to be sagging significantly at their center. Hadn't noticed this phenomenon until yesterday in Santa Rosa NM with ridiculous winds. The plastic panel at the rear behind the bumper completely ripped loose from the top edge. Appears glued/plastic riveted? Duct taped that back in place-Nothing solid to screw it back into-arrgh! Anyhow, the "protected underbelly" feature I specifically sought out is now compromised. Heading to Quartzsite with some cold weather yet to come. Sigh.

Have another beer regardless. Sounds like the downward bulge is unavoidable due to stuff on the other side. Just patch the failure and enjoy the camping.

I got some good pics, both from the side and from the rear looking forward. Unfortunately I am down to an iPhone and Kindle Fire and can't figure out how to post them ๐Ÿ˜ž I did find a "service flap" cut in by the dealer to effect a repair on the entrance steps. I will apply duct tape to that as well. Looking from the rear, the sag is uniform. All panels seem to be bumped up against something solid (tank, plumbing, whatever) except the rearmost one. I thumped/pushed up on all of them with no water sloshing sound nor drainage, so I don't think leakage is an issue. Maybe I should ignore the perceived sag and have another beer.

Sounds like a good plan to me. If you can lay your hands on some Gorrilla tape you'll find that it out performs Duct tape by a mile. :B

Since one of the panels flew of there could be a problem. On mine the underbelly is not flat and I suspect it is that way because of the way out covers the tanks and such underneath, as was mentioned above. Last time I looked mine seemed to have a small grating type opening on the centerline probably to allow drainage should there be a leak. That makes sense.

Any chance you have a water leak? If water is leaking down into that area the weight will quickly produce that sort of sag as it seeks the lowest level. Got any pics? :h

I've not had the best luck posting pics on here, but I'll try. I'm in the KOA in Bernalillo for the weekend. I'll poke around under there a bit more.

Can you see into the space? Anything that may have come loose and is forcing the belly down?

My 2012 Flagstaff looks like it sags in places too but I just chalked it up to the tanks and the fact that it's just that corrugated plastic material that isn't that rigid to begin with.

Are you sure it wasn't always that way? (the trailer that is) ๐Ÿ˜‰
Mine looks like it sags but it's because of the way it wraps around the tanks under there.
