mysterious disapearing topic

a 9:01 am today I was reading a multi page topic on the poor quality support of the Northwoods Company and suddenly poof gone !!!! what happened ? why ? I checked my internet site history and reloaded and all reference to the posting is gone ?

If someone is here to lodge complaints, this is not the forum. If you are seeking resolutions, welcome. Bashing an appliance or RV manufacturer rarely ends well. I deleted the thread and hope future problems will seek solutions rather than pointing blame. If the original poster wishes to resurrect this thread seeking help, I hope the advice will not go against forum policy.

When a company intentionally jerks around its customers, the customer's natural impulse is to mention getting a lawyer; the connotation in this context, for this term "lawyer", simply means trying to "get justice and fair dealing" especially against an organization which, by its actions, appears hostile.

Its pretty weak to use this as an excuse to censor someone's open complaint on a forum. Perhaps there are no complaints allowed against certain brands sponsoring this site, as has been implied here. I get a chuckle out of every time someone makes a post and say, "get a lawyer." A few years ago I had a legal battle (it was a long story) and we had to get a lawyer. Way back then, we had to put a $2000 retainer down to even talk to him. Then the firm charged $200 and hour. Every Email received was 1/4 hour. Every email returned was 1/4 hour.

When we finally went to court, we were charged from the second our lawyer left the office to the time he returned to the office. There were multiple continuances from the opposition. Well, it took almost a year and we won. And for what it's worth, our opponent never paid us a penny. And we had shelled out over $12,000 JUST in lawyer fees.

So, everytime someone blows off the cuff "get a lawyer"... well ... I laugh my A$$ off at them!

I have to say I like the price of the Northwood TC's. Don't like the luan backing behind the fiberglass skin. Seen too many used Northwood campers delaminate. Seen a lot of Lance TC's delaminate until they switched to azdel now I don't see any with the azdel delaminated. Same with Cirrus they started out with azdel and I have not seen any delaminate as of yet.

I remember quite a while ago a member here left his Artic Fox TC out in the desert somewhere because he hit wash board and tore his jacks off then noticed how rotted/falling apart it was so he left it out there.
If I remember right it took the back end of his camper out of the truck and his jacks were torn off so he couldn't get it back in his truck anyways.

His camper is probably still sitting out there today :B
