New water faucets

One mod I never see mentioned here....or maybe I have missed it.
Water faucets...has anyone replaced them in their TT?
The ones that came with my trailer we as cheap a faucet you could find and the bathroom faucet didn't even barely reach the sink.
I watched for them to go on sale at Canadian Tire (Canadian retailer) and got two good high quality Danze kitchen and bathroom faucets for $120.00 for both..Tried them out just in the driveway and already love it...
Final notice from MasterCard. Good! I'm sick of hearing from them.

We just took ours out of storage and when pressurizng the system, the kitchen faucet sprung a leak. Replacement is now required. Suggestions?

I recently upgraded the interior sinks with nice quality stainless and Grohe faucets. After words I exchanged the inside shower faucet assembly and then the outside shower hose with a stainless spray options. The quality change alone made it worth every cent.

For the record. I have gotten very helpful and accurate advice from both Old-Biscuit and SoundGuy.
I am glad BOTH of you are kicking around.

change them before you have flood like I did, mine are so light they came open by themselves on rough road, and i had forgotten to turn off the pump. Disaster.

Of course we agree as I too do things the way I like whether you approve or not because it is for my benefit that I do these things. Where we do disagree is because you apparently seem to believe I don't have the right to express an opinion you may not agree with. Sorry, if you think that's going to stop me from expressing my views you're in for a disappointment. 😉

Have NO problem with you expressing YOUR opinion.......

BUT your approach always seems to be demeaning in nature. You have a knack for attempting to put down others opinions when expressing your opinion.

And based on others post...I'm not the only one that gets this impression.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

We swapped out our cheap plastic vanity faucet because we couldn't bring ourselves to look at the factory installed POS much longer.

We have a shiny new chrome moen from home depot which has a higher neck and swivels.

It was an easy swap out. No tools needed.

Well OK, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration ... I'll sleep just fine. :B

I love having money to waste on kitchen faucets - and I did.

Oh me, today, I am repairing my shower pipes. Not the actual junky faucet, but the pex elbow that screws onto the faucet. The plastic nuts on both of them broke on our last trip, 9 pm when we arrived and found we had a leak! I had to cut a hole in hall paneling behind the faucets to access the pipes. Oh well, at least I'm learning about how to connect pex fittings! Had to buy the crimping tool for 3/8, 1/2 fittings, a 20' piece of 1/2" pex just to get 6" of it! Anybody near Columbus who needs some 1/2" pex?

Just a little 'preventive maintenance'....which is money well spent."

Not a chance on the planet I'd waste $$ on swapping out a trailer faucet without good reason, as in it's leaking and can't be repaired at a reasonable cost. If we were living in the camper, sure - but for intermittent use during the camping season? ... hardly. :R

🙂 Hi, my trailer came with good faucets, but I changed the one in the bathroom for a taller one with a single handle instead of a two handle faucet. Much nicer now. I did have to cut both waterlines (PEX) and buy crimping rings and a crimping tool to do the change out.
