Sometimes I worry about myself because my love of TTs seems a bit overboard. So, confession time...

I speed up when I see a TT on the road so I can get close and check it out.

When going camping, I seriously ENJOY setting up our TT and have been known to be a little disappointed when the TT doesn't need leveling. (My wife can't understand this.)

Part of the FUN of camping is walking around the CG and looking at other people's rigs.

I LOVE looking online at accessories for my TT.

I LOVE talking about TTs to anyone who will listen.

So someone PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one like this!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I've got the OP's symptoms....only thing is....get this....I don't like camping!...got a new trailer sitting in my driveway which I've been puttering on....I know I'll rarely use it...maybe to to to the odd festival if it's not more than a day or two away....I like my comfort and did the camping thing years ago....but now I've still got all those symptoms like looking at other RVs and love the fact that my little unit is a self-contained home....I guess maybe I'm even weirder!

Travel Trailers and Boats. I have it worse for boats but trailers are a close second. I enjoy getting up early and walking the dogs when I am camping, I look forward to the walks even having to clean up after them is ok.
Thanks

I thought that's what everyone did? You mean there are people that don't do those things?

I enjoy checking out other rigs, so I don't think that it is weird. Sometimes they give me ideas that I can use for my rigs. They may be a "box", but some boxes work better than others. I use mine, but I don't abuse them. I don't consider them just tools, they give me the freedom to enjoy the outdoors. I don't even think about abusing them, since I don't want to replace them. I also don't abuse my tools and I have had many of them for well over 40 years. My enitre family gets to enjoy the RV rigs. I can't say that for my tools. Without the RVs, I wouldn't have as much quality time with my family. They are made to be enjoyed. If they bring you enjoyment and quality time with your family, then they have been a good choice.
I wish eveyone a safe and wonderful summer. Happy Camping.

The above is just weird. Too weird for me. Actually, on the edge of being over obsessed. IMO, the RV/TT/Pop-Up is only a box to keep rain off one's head, to contain a comfortable bed (to sleep on at dark time) and to hold supplies. It's a box - nothing more. A box doesn't define one's life. It's only a box to be used, then thrown away when it gets worn out (or no longer needed). Then, get another box. Its a box. Nothing more. Just like a vehicle and a house. It's a box to use, abuse and throw away when its no longer needed. A you can tell, my RV, Power Boat, Canoes/Kayaks, utility trailers and vehicles are only tools (like the 1/2 or 9/16 wrench in my tool box) to use and abuse when needed. They are nothing more... My tools don't define me... I use them only when needed....

Maybe we should start a 12 step program for people addicted to TT. We could all get together and meet somewhere. Of course we would have to bring our TT.

It's a serious problem we have. I have bought 3 Thanrailers in 3 years. I'm not allowed to go to rv lots anymore.
Rv shows are out of the question.
My wife thinks I am in a rv cult when I surf the forums.
I get excited when the rv magazine arrives, and read it coming in from the mailbox.
I sleep in it in the driveway.
No, you're not alone, it's an addiction.
Help me.

Lol, X2.
6th rv in 14yrs. My wife won't even sign the papers anymore. Thank God for good credit. I have my 15yo DS trained to look at the trailers and tow vehicles, Google the GVWR of each and say "I can't believe he is towing that 12k lb rig with an1/2 ton". He is weight police in training.
