ordered a new Adventurer 910FBS...

Well I posted a question about 6 months back about hauling a 910 on a 2500HD, and while yes it could be done with many mods, I started thinking about upgrading the truck.. and well I picked up a new hauler. 2013 3500HD Dually. So of course on our drive back home from the auto dealer we stopped by the rv dealer and placed our order for a new Adventurer 910FBS. If all goes to plan we should be picking it up tomorrow. I wanted to thank everyone that shared their opinion on my last post.

I just got the 86sbs model. Very much like yours only a bit shorter. This is my second Adventure camper. Going to be lots of fun. They have come a long way in ten years.

Yea, made the same mistake as you, IE, stopped at Dave Smith Motors.

Mind you, I was just kicking tires, looking around, while driving out to my son's place in Washington state. Shoot, long story short, we drove away in a new Ram dually. They took good care of me there, set the new Ram up with Torklift mounts, removed the old Torklift from my trade in. So I was TC hauling ready the minute I left the dealership.

Well I got a couple more things done.. I was looking at a buddies new AF and noticed they use clear plexi glass around the stove area to protect the walls from splatter. I liked it so I installed some. I also got my TV mount in, so I also installed a 32" Samsung smart tv.

Well now for my first mod... While looking at the new 2017 changes for adventurer, I noticed the new tiled back splash in the kitchen area. so I though heck i'll give it a try, and here are my results.

We are very happy with the results, it cost around $70.00 but we both think it was well worth it.

I did hit the scales on the way home... with full propane and water (no gear or food) its at 3880. Im guessing it will be around 4500 once its fully loaded. More pics coming shortly... im working on my first mod at the moment...
