x2. I bought this one recently because my truck didn't come with the plastic one from the factory. This one works great and I love how it sticks to the hinge while filling.

The door has a soft rubber seal that does a good job of sealing the dust out. I'm thinking their test was done with the door open. I do think it's a good idea for sure. I use the Mopar cap that comes on the EcoDiesel trucks.

Hi, I'm Nicole from the Youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZUUWSVDrTI

The video was shot after I drove out to my farm and back, approximately 62 miles. The fuel door was closed the entire time I was driving. When you're going down dirt and gravel roads the rubber seal on the fuel door does not keep the dust out. The EZ-Loc does.

I've run with my EZ-Loc since April and even installed a DEF-Loc when those came out. Since then, my green plastic diesel filler neck is nice and clean inside.

Plus...I don't think the filler neck compartment is sealed complete against the inside of the fender...like it should be.

Just added that to my Amazon cart - the little plastic plug I've been using lacks a magnet and tends to blow away on windy days. Worth $15 to fix that with a more permanent solution - thanks.

We had a moron in our area that used a cordless drill . he decided the dodge truck was waiting for him to be a crook. He drove himself to the hospital with very serious burns. Something came out very good on this story. A jail bird with pain.

I have always been a fan of a non locking fuel cap, if they want my fuel fine, I have had two friends that had locking fuel caps, one lost a full tank of full because the stuck a screw driver thought the bottom of the tank, the other only lost a 1/4 tank of fuel do to a Ice pick in the bottom of the tank ...

I figure a $40 or $50 loose is better than a $300 or $400 fuel tank 🙂

Safe Travels

I'm not so worried about a cap that locks so I've still got the plastic factory plug stuck in mine. When it wears out I'll figure out another cap but at two years it still works fine. I'm on dirt roads a lot so I'm not really a fan of the capless setup.
