Like I said, some still want to live under a rock! The World has change for better or worst. Fish's problem is when he no longer could attack RAM for what it is, he switched to where it is manufactured and such.

All of the three major trucks have come a long way in recent years. Most of the new TV in our Arizona RV park appear to be RAMs this year. When Ford makes the new 2017 maybe it will regain its top spot with class 3, 4, and 5 sales. Each has a few features that are better on the other ones, however Ford is over due for a refresh beside GM and RAM. So people are waiting for that. People even on here say "wait for the 2017"! Between that and warranty issues, they need to get their act cleaned up. GM has been much smarter regarding the CP4.2 failures. Nobody drums GM and RAM about Warranty issues like they do FORD.

I started this thread about sales numbers for class 3, 4 and 5 trucks. The numbers are what they are, RAM is doing very well right now!

Seriously I think the only reason why you kids even bring it up is just so you guys can say your favorite is better than someone else's favorite.

But when your purchase a truck from a foreign company like ram I guess it doesn't matter.

This is false, Ram is not a foreign company. It is a US based company and is a division of another US based company, FCA US, which is a subsidiary of the stock holding company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, based out of London and is owned by shareholders. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles also has another subsidiary called FCA Italy for vehicles built in other global markets. The parent company of Ram, FCA US, may have most of it's shares owned by a foreign holding company, but Ram itself is still a US company along with FCA US per US government standards. Although many US companies have stocks owned or held by foreign companies.

I am still trying to figure out why trucks like the Ram or engines like the Powerstroke being built in Mexico even matters. If everything a person owns is US made then I can see them saying something, but to say something while still owning stuff made outside of the the US is a bit hypocritical.

Also, does the fact that a vehicle/engine is built outside the US means that it is of less quality? If so, then both sides of this argument have something to loose. You either pay Juan to build it so he can feed his family so they don't end up making drugs to sell in the US or you pay some union worker who in-turn pays the union who will use it to get another politician elected that will make laws in their favor. Which is worse will be up to you.

Fords doing a heck of a job keeping the truck plant here. Not so with the rest of their vehicles. I guess that Ford apple pie does have some Jalapeno in it. Check your slice before eating.

I wonder how many of all the Aisin parts mentioned in the link below are on FORD vehicles? Chris

Japanese company.... But when your purchase a truck from a foreign company like ram I guess it doesn't matter. :W

I suspect those company's who buy these trucks don't know this either. Hopefully the people who purchase trucks for their personal use take this important attribute to heart.

Both Ford and GM used Aisin transmissions at different times. Aisin is the world's largest builder of automatic transmissions.

V10,

Are you getting a stall out when not posting? if so, go to one of the other sites vs rv.net ie trailerlife, motor home etc. I've been having some issues off and on myself.
