My 2008 Roo 23ss needs to be recaulked all the seams, body parts around the lights, speakers, etc. Pick below shows a small example. I'm considering the 3M Marine 4000 UV Adhesive/Sealant Fast Cure or the Pro Flex RV sealants. Pro Flex is a lot less expensive than the 3M. Any one have suggestions or preferences?

Will be doing the roof seams too, trying to decide between eternabond or lap sealant, but leaning towards eternabond.

thanks

It's a one time repair.
Did you remove the old dicor for roof seams or just enternabond over them?

When my husband redid our roof with eternabond, he scraped up all of the old caulk, then put down the eternabond.

I used the 3m 4000 for every side seam, marker light, trim and door on the outside of my MH. I like the fact its a caulk and an adhesive all in one. Most import is its UV protection. Been 4+ years and still holding up great. Its was designed for marine use bedding cleats and such.
I used eternabond on my roof seems. No brainer do it once and be done with it. I also used eternabond double sided for my windows. Removed each window cleaned and applied eternabond double sided. Same 4+ years and no leaks.
I only wanted to do these fixes once. Couldn't understand using something that has to be redone or touched up every few years.
Good luck with tour project.

I've used 3 or 4 Dicor sealants..nothing but great.

The exception has been my black fender skirts...Dicor doesn't make a sealant in black. And seemingly, my fender skirts are made of Teflon or something, cause NOTHING sticks to them. I've tried all sorts of sealant and have grown tired of removing and reapplying new sealant to test.

2-3 times per year I have had to repair this fender skirt seal, until now.

I found 3M windshield adhesive to be my sure for my black fender skirts!
