Securing my TV

Greetings, First Post.
I have just mounted a 32" Vizio on a Mor/ryde locking Mount. It seems a little wobbly. Should I strap it to the wall when traveling?

My mounting bracket swivels two ways, and each one has an Allen set screw. I just tighten them down and the tv does not move.
Experience without good judgment is worthless; good judgment without experience is still good judgment!

Glad we have the option of having a TV if we want one. We enjoy watching after the days activities are done. But that's just us. Would tie down if needed too. With our design it's not necessary.

Why not?
Just a little effort for a lot of peace of mind.
Experience is that which you gain immediately after you actually needed it.

So then no? You don't strap it down?

:B. Nope, Since I don't have one, I guess not. ๐Ÿ™‚
Although, if I did have a heavy object fastened to the wall, I would have to secure it to protect both the object and the wall. ๐Ÿ˜„

I strap ours with a inch wide tie down strap.
That stablizes and prevents any movement.

My buddy's Arctic Fox came with it strapped to the wall.

I use Velcro straps on mine just to be safe.

Mine is on a mount that allows me to easily remove the TV. I remove it before travel and place it on a bed surrounded by pillows so it won't slide off.

Just think of some of the pot holes that you could not avoid and the impact stress it put on the TV and the TT. I strap mine in top to bottom and side to side. I would rather be safe than sorry.

A strap attached with clear velcro would not be a bad idea.
