I own a Adventure 2012 980 RDS TC and I need to adjust the slide on camper as it is binding going in or out.
When slide is out a bit and with a tape one can see one side of slide is out about 5/8 โ€œ farther than other.
When putting out slide motor stops about 3 times and one has to wait for a while to proceed and then it works for a while once again.

I live In Canada and only Adventure dealer is 6 hours away so if you could help me out on how to adjust slide my self it would be appreciated.

Go to Happijac.com, look at the slide room products.

There is a downloadable manual that's more detailed than what's in our information.

For the life of me, I don't know how to do a clicky, so sorry.

Manufactured by Happi-jac.
It just groans away with a lot of noise like it hasn't got enough power and then stops and you have to wait a while and it will continual out or in some more.
When slide is half way out I checked with tape and slide towards the from end is about 5/8 โ€œ ahead of back end.
No clicking at the relay control module that I can hear.
Does your manual show how to adjust slide ??

TucsonJim I will check web site you suggested

I just saw my post. Sorry about the typos. The dog was helping me type. He tried to sit on my laptop.

We have an Adventurer as well. They slide is manufactured by Happi-jac.

Here are some of the causes:per the manual

It states TC must be level before using the slide.

problem: slide stops before reaching fully extended or retracted position-

cause: external obstruction or faulty relay control module.

problem: slide will not stay straight side to side

cause: broken connecting shaft between slide rails (double rail systems only)

broken roll pin in drive sprocket (dbl rail systems only)

slide room mechanism not secured properly to floor

slide room not secured properly to mechanism

Do you hear clicking at the relay control module? It says it could be inefficient power at the relay control module, or faulty ground on relay control module, a defective motor or brake if the unit utilizes a brake.

It states for trouble shooting, call technical support at: 1 (800) 231 7440

Hope this helps. If you want more info from the manual, PM me and I'll try to send it. I'm sorry if you already had this info, just trying to assist.

Can you check the paperwork for your TC and let us know who the slide manufacturer is? My FW slide was seriously out of adjustment when I purchased it, and the worthless dealer (who's now out of business) didn't or wouldn't adjust it correctly. I found out who the slide manufacturer was, went to their website and downloaded the instructions to adjust it. I was able to tune it so it works perfectly now.
