IF your slide rooms are not stable get them repaired. If your 2 foot deep slide needed stabilizing it may have been beyond repair.
I didn't actually need it with my 2' slide outs, and I have just picked up my 2014 JayFlight, so haven't even had it out camping yet.
This was more just trying to find out I did need them for my first camping trip since I did have a friend who has them on his 2012 Springdale and recommended them when he was checking out my new trailer.

Check with your manufacturer but most recommend against it. The reason being if the trailer settles a bit with stabilizers under the slides, it can cause alignment and sealing problems.
X2 on this!
