A co-worker sent me this website. Would be neat to put a small camper shell (a la Mitchell fishing hut) on one of these:

It is same with old muscle cars, you need to buy them for the styling otherwise you have to sink a lot money into them so they don't get beat by today's daily commuters.

Undersprung for heavy loads but I know a local guy that has restored a couple and he said that with no load and in stock trim an older Power Wagon will beat the snot out of you going down a rough road.

Tough truck.

Too pretty for me. I'd prefer one the that the body wasn't show room condition as I'd put some dings, dents and racing stripes front to back on (read as scratches). But I'm not about to spend over 100g's for!

That 4-door is neat! I would like one that had a little extra space behind a single cap with fixed glass and small jump seats without the operable suicide door... sort of like the early 90's Dodge extra cab.

I happen to know of a guy on the other side of town that has one (original) in faded green. Sure like to have it... With a turbo Cummins of course.

Hate to think what a refurbished and tricked one costs.

According to the website, a Cummins is an option:

Legacy Power Trucks is a company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They produce some serious conversions like this awesome Legacy Power Wagon, a completely modernized version of the Dodge Power Wagon. The mean American truck is like a Dodge Power Wagon on steroids and comes equipped with either a 425 hp Mopar V8 engine or a Cummins Diesel. Available in two or four door format, ...

That would be a very cool rig. I can also picture putting a B series Cummins drive train in it.

Something low-key but classic... I have always thought the Mitchell Fishing Hut is a neat efficient TC:
