The continuing Saga waiting for my new Ram 3500

I am not sure what is happening with one ton Ram production but I know that my estimated ship date is today, the problem is that they have not started building it yet. Like so many others mine has gone from status D to D1 then back to C which was explained to me to be a soft scheduled status.. Sure would like my new truck.
On the bright side my F-350 is still running very well and B&W has not released the new hitch for the new Ram so I would not be able to use it yet even if it was here..
Would like to hear when anyone actually sees a 2013 Ram 3500 at a dealership.

To bad that doesn't mean squat... The foam cover never stopped them from building and shipping the 2500s. If you look around, they stopped using the foam, but have since gone to a hard plastic cover.

They pushed the build day out another month so I cancelled my order. Bought a 2012 Ram 3500 now that I was not so smart and sold my 2011 Ram 3500. I will keep my new truck for a few years and decide if 800 lbs of torque is enough...lol

Got a call today from my dealer. Seems that my truck has a ship date of April 10. Now I get to wait and see if it actually happens.

As long ast they start to build. I am very tired of waiting. Even if I did get my new truck in a week or two, I cannot tow my fiver. The fifth wheel adapter kit from Mopar is not availible until late April according to the parts department.

Again, it is in transit, so it may not be legit, but it's a start!

"In Transit"..is legit, but the 12' that I purchased was "IN TRANSIT" when I found it and from the time it was "IN TRANSIT" till the time it hit the lot was almost THREE WEEKS, and it was a 2012 that I purchased on Jan. 4th of this year.

so, "in transit" IS legit"...it's when it get's to it's "point of destination, that "remains to be seen".

You DO know that by NOW, MM49, or whatever his handle was could have very well purchased the 2500HD with DEF that he claimed he owned back in January....
