I have a 2008 Ram 2500 turbo Cummins diesel 6.7 4x4 everything seems to be ok except it started to be hard to start, Manual states not to operate in ideal mode to long, I was min a major back up on I75 for about one hour at not more then 2 to 3 mph. Could that cause it, Thanks for any input. Ed

Don't ignore the batteries. If they aren't up to par they will cause hard starting.

Not likely in Tampa!!
There are many who delete the Grid heater, even in colder weather and dot have starting issues even down to 20 degrees.

:B The guy who did our PDI mentioned the wait to start light on the dash for glow plugs :W Luckily he was pretty knowledgeable about the rest of the coach.

Extended cranking/hard starting can point to an injector issue. Leaking injector results in a rail pressure loss, and the computer will not fire them till above 5kpsi. Result is longer cranking times to build fuel rail pressure before fuel is actually injected.

It's warm enough now that it should light pretty quickly without any intake heat.

Soo many things, soo little time.
Fuel filter
Time for a regen
Plugged air filter
Bad load of fuel.
I would start with filters.
