The areas under the graphics have never been exposed to sunlight, so they are brighter than the surrounding area. This is true.
Washing, waxing and especially buffing helped blend the old and new areas. If you look at certain angles, you can't tell where the graphics were. Look at a different angle, and you can see it. I expect that with exposure to sun this winter, the areas will blend together over time.
Beyond that, I will do nothing beyond future washing and waxing.
