Our recent RV Graphics Removal project is done.

The vinyl graphics on our rig was faded, cracked and peeling, so it was time for action. Now, we have a simple, clean and waxed white fiberglass look that matches our truck.

We made a video that documented the process. Enjoy! Hopefully, this will help others contemplating a similar project.

The areas under the graphics have never been exposed to sunlight, so they are brighter than the surrounding area. This is true.

Washing, waxing and especially buffing helped blend the old and new areas. If you look at certain angles, you can't tell where the graphics were. Look at a different angle, and you can see it. I expect that with exposure to sun this winter, the areas will blend together over time.

Beyond that, I will do nothing beyond future washing and waxing.

wow. I can't imagine why your rig would have graphics over paint?

It looks GREAT! Mine is in a constant state of removal because my graphics are over full-body unbaked paint so the eraser wheel will burn into the paint. Lesson learned there.
