last (Easter) week we travelled to southern France: Provence (the Inland) and Cote d'Azur (the coast line). I want to present some photos and impressions and hope you like it.
As I told you at the end of last year we changed to a smaller rig (Nissan Frontier and "TrendUp"-full carbon composite camper. We thought that - due to the age of our children (19 and 15) in the future we would travel only two persons, but..... facts can change quickly: out adult daughter wanted to accompany us. So, this was our maiden voyage - with 4 persons. And all worked perfect, although it was very cosy inside the camper. ๐
Now I present you the first part of my pictures, in the region of Provence, inland of southern France.

@all: thanks for the nice comments. Don, I am based in western part of Germany, near Cologne ๐ @drc5900: I think you have enough variety of all Kind of trucks, smaller, ones, too, like Tahoma or Frontier ! ๐ @Clarryhill: yes, we are really happy that the kids still want to go with us ! ๐
Looks like wonderful trip. Cool your kids still want to come with you. It's been some 20 years ago since last time I was in the Provence, and the campgrounds sure look different from back then (with grass fields to set up a tent and put stakes in the ground..). Or are where you camp just parking lots? And while I really like my 1-Ton Ram PU, I sure wish we would have those wonderful little diesel pickup trucks in the USA.. Cheers!

Absolutely stunning photos, Felix. Many thanks for sharing with us over here across the pond. It's been many years since I was in that part of the world, but the photos still bring back the feeling of History that so many parts of Europe instill. Thanks again, and congratulations on the fact that so many children in that age group want little to do with traveling with the "old" folks. That says that you've done it right.
