Am I safe to ASSUME your at Assateague ? I do not recognize that access point?

Blowing NE makes for a tough fishing day there, been there many times in that weather...

BUT you know what they say..... A BAD day of fishing beats a GOOD day at work... :B

I carry a ARB portable twin compressor with tank in a self contained case. It hooks to anybodys car battery. I have used it at OBX to air up.

Yep, Pismo Beach was my spot 20 miles south of me. Never saw anyone surf fishing though. Mainly clamming or terrorizing the dunes. Started getting real crowded around 1990 with all the sand people from the central valley coming over for cooler weather. We would have motorcycles and quad runners and dune buggies but we always brought our own compressor and generator to air up. Sort of like being self sufficient. There is talk of closing Pismo in a year due to the snowy plover,(bird). I would expect a lot of toyhaulers to hit the market.

Why are you airing up? Do you have leaky tires?

try driving in the sand at Pismo or Glamis without airing down your tires and you will find out why they are airing up after beach fishing

Yeah, guess not. Never thought of airing up for drizzle. I did have a 1967 cj5 that I had 11

It’s ok, you just missed a key point. Those are surf rods on those trucks … as in they were at the beach in sand. 😉 My guess is you’ve got the rest.
