I have a node rm2451 Domestic refrigerator that has a broken freezer door. The pivot points are broken off of what i presently have. I called Domestic and they want $102. for this.

So i am now searching for a source of used parts........ do you know of a source of used / salvaged rv parts?

just looking for alternatives

Which pivot points?

There may be a simple fix, if you can post a picture, it may be the same problem I had and fixed.

Could you screw a screw into where the pins on the door once were and then cut off the head of the screw? In that way making a new pin?

You'll have better luck searching for "Dometic" rather than "domestic".

There are RV salvage lots listed when you do a Google search.

PPL Motorhomes has a gret parts department and the prices are the best I've found on the web. You may want to check with them to see if they can give you a good price. www.pplmotorhomes.com look for the parts banner on the home page.

On my Dometic I was able to use pieces from the other corners of the door to rebuild the broken parts.
