What is this switch for?

We have a 2002 Fleetwood Prowler Lynx, Northwest Edition, 20' long.
We have yet to spend a night in it but we're getting ready for a trip. We're learning lots about the trailer. Had to replace the converter yesterday. But we still don't know what this big switch is for.

Well, I tried to post an image but it's not easy. The switch is just below the sink on the front of the cabinet. It's big and says "ON" and "OFF" but nothing else. I followed the wires (Romex) but they disappeared behind the pantry wall.

As I said I tried to fillow the wires but they disappear up the wall beyween the shower and the pantry. It's not for a water filter, which doesn't use electricity. There is another switch for the 12V water pump. Maybe the water heater has a 110V option as well as propane. I'll look into that. Thanks, all.

That sounds plausible if someone added a hott rod to the water heater.

This doesn't look factory to me. If it's for the water heater it's the stupidest place for it. It can easily be bumped and turned on by accident. The House hold rockers don't take much to flip

downtheroad,
I can think of a lot of people that would fit very nicely in that chair. Would love to rent it. :C:B

Like ChooChooMan74 says.....follow the wires .

Its like following a burglars footprints in the snow, to his garage and then finding all your missing things, in his garage.

Since we've never had or used a water filter I have to ask - what water filter intended for recreational vehicle use requires electrical power to operate? :h

The large switch in mine is 110v by the awning for lights. If it's romex it would be 110v. The location is what seems odd.

My guess is water pump, because of the switch location.

Did you try following the wires?

I'm probably wrong but, it doesn't look like a factory installation.
