I also suggest the 1400 4 point hitch. I used the round bars for years and when I got my last new TT I went all out so to speak and got the 4 point. love it, easy to set up and take down , helps so very much on sway and no grease on my hands and pant legs.

Maybe I'll get flamed for this..
We have a 30' Arctic Fox 28F. Tongue weight is 1000-1100 pounds depending on the load.
From day one we have used an Equalizer hitch with 1400# bars.
Negative impact? None to speak of. We have no trouble with weight transfer to balance the load, we have no sway issues, nothing. Everything works as advertised.
In your scenario I'd say the 1200 pound bars are fine. I went with 1400# bars to cover every 'what if' scenario and don't regret it one bit.
