Hello, I'm new here. Haha well not so much, but I feel new since it's been awhile.

And with the way things are happening on the web right now I'll not be using Photobucket to post directly to rvnet, sadly. Not even any intro pics. Maybe another time if there is one, I'll have my own hosting site and be able to resume doing business the old way.

In the meantime I have to say how great it is to have our oldest daughter and her family finally move here to Meridian Idaho. I've not seen the little twins for over a year and boy a lot happens in a year when you're that young.

They live with us temporarily while they buy a house, and what a treat it's been. For Lynn and I it's like re-living the past with two little girls, only we can turn these two over to their parents lol. And there's the beauty of it.

So I hope you take a gander, and have a fabulous weekend.

Hi Phylis! Thanks a lot, it's all so true about having them both be healthy. Those health issues did also cause identical twins to look so differently, and we're kind of thankful lol, we know who's who.

A simple thank you to you fiveeyes,

It sure was heartwarming to read your story on camping with the twins. Especially after the medical issues experienced upon their arrival in this world. They both look pretty vigorous now!

Howdy Steve! Isn't it true? No telling how kids turn out. Our oldest lives to run, hike and backpack. Youngest with the same upbringing hates to hike or run. Me, I'm running out of gas lol, and need naps in between activities. But it's all fabulous, and I'll hope you get to have the same experience.
Thanks a lot Steve...

Well after not only reading the netire posting on RVNet, I also have seen the entire trip report!
You my friend are a one in a million Granpa, and those two girls could not be sweeter lookin!! They look like I could just gobble them up!
My daughter in law hates camping, and hates fish, and hates bugs, and- and -and-....so my grand daughter does not have the experience of campin YET!
It is funny since my Son used to camp with us almost every week end in summer, and always loved to take the boat out too.

Thank you Dave for taking us along on your fun-filled Gramping trip. During that time we were on the opposite side of the US in the far NE corner of Maine.

Having fun is so much fun.

Thanks much wvabeer, I've been blessed beyond my "deserves", that's a fact.

Ah Bob, hey I know for a fact when I'm in the presence of a SA and never not once got that from you. As for the MKRBH, I get the joke and hope to get the hash, just don't put "sold" after it lol.
See ya sometime ol buddy...

Wazoo, regarding the Mary Kitchen Roast Beef Hash (MKRBH).....

I'm kind of a smart alec (SA), maybe you know that. And I look at people's signatures at the bottom of their posts and where they list all their toys and parts and wives and dogs and TV brands and which 1/2" drive ratchet wrench they like and what brand of toilet paper.

Being a SA, I put MKRBH in my signature to be funny. Funny thing is, I love the stuff. Fry it very crispy and it's just heaven, I think. A little Lowrys seasoning salt and catsup. OMG! and a beer of course.
My dear lovely wife (DLF) won't eat it so it's a solo thing.

Honestly, I have a very DLF, would rather read books than watch a DVD on the TV when we're in the TC, have toys too like all the other TCers. And a dog. No grandkids.....yet. Wish I did and especially after reading your TR, my friend.

Hey Matt, that's a great idea and I'll give it a try, thanks mucho.

Ahoy Ben and Tory, you two are never late and thanks for your note. I have to go check Facebook to see your new posts. I'm taking notes you know, for our trip in the future.

How D and Sweet Jane, thanks a lot D, for all your notes over the years. I can only say that after some serious ranting myself over Photobucket, I've now found a kind of peace knowing I'm no longer mentally tied to my trip reports which will soon be gone from rvnet as the pics are replaced with broken links. So I'll say it to you, Peace Brother!

Dave, I just saw this and felt the grand passions of a grand father. Unfortunately, none of my three have had children...so I am wondering about renting out your two???

I unfortunately, don't spend much time on this Forum after the debacle with Photo Bucket ruined a thread that had built over 6 years. But I'll surely check into your doings from time to time. Sweet Jane and I might even make it to your neck of the woods at some point.
