We've had everything but a motor home, still have two 5ers but they are set up at my son's lake place as cabins. We pulled a modest 28' to a lot of places and man fueling up could be a problem at times. Had to watch for stuff along the ground to snag it on. When deciding on what to buy for traveling and both of us enjoying the mountains and our privacy we settled on a TC, my idea initially and I'm the DW, so we could haul horse trailer, boat, or Toyota FJ on a trailer without becoming a train. Ours is only a 9.5 and quite old. With modest renovations it functions as well as a newer one, holds everything we NEED and stuff we probably don't. Just got home today from over 3,000 mile jaunt and I'm actually going to miss staying in it. Easy to clean up, everything with a place and in its place, easy in and out of campgrounds and maybe a 10 minute set up including a Tailgater satellite dish. We don't spend a lot of time just sitting in the camper but can comfortably relax to watch TV ifs we like. Everyone has their preferences and we haven't stayed married 46 years by not each making some concessions. I'm going to miss sleeping in our cozy little hideaway now till our next adventure. Good luck to you with your situation.
