Our TT had to have.
* Suitable floor plan with bright interior.
* A bed you could exit without crawling over you spouse.
* Large bathroom.
* Lots of pantry space
* Lots of linen space.
* Large couch/bed for the dog.
* Small enough to wind through city streets to fine tourist traps and quilt shops.
* Towable with a half ton.

To us the rest was fluff.

We bought a used stick and tin Dutchmen Lite and have put 35,000 miles in 5 years.
Twenty six foot 2010 Dutchmen Lite pulled with a 2011 EcoBoost F-150 4x4.

Just right for Grandpa, Grandma and the dog.

Grand Design Imagine 2650RK (no longer made.) Decent size tanks, lots of counter space, and a huge pass-through. We didn't plan on a new TT until I saw the floor plan & the local dealer had one in stock.

We recently purchased a Forest River Cherokee 274vfk. The kitchen is in the v-nose which give more counter and cabinet space and really opens up the "living room" area. We absolutely love the floor plan. It also has a bonded-finish exterior and heavy-duty axles with E-rated tires. It is a little larger at 34" and 9985# gvw but our Ram 2500 CTD pulls it just fine. It's perfect for the two of us.

We like our Jayco Jay Flight 23RB. It's still relatively small, 27' 1" long with a 23.5' living area and not to heavy, 6500# GVWR.

It doesn't have a slide, but has enough room inside for the two of us. Our last trailer, Skyline Koala 21CS was a little too small. Just had a sofa on a slide which was opposite the kitchen. If the Koala had been the 23CS model, I'd still have it. Loved the Azdel & fiberglass exterior.

But this trailer suits us fine. Has a dinette and a sofa, and a large bathroom in the rear, with a lot of storage.

37guna, I priced building a cargo conversion. Cost more than nice TT with less amenities.

Ultimately I would like to buy a barebones cargo trailer and design my own floor plan. It's already in my head with an efficient use of space and no slides needed! 😉

I'm thinking about checking out this one to replace the 20 foot I have now. But, I feel that they are about 1000 to high in price.

I have been to several RV shows and on line. My pick remains my 2010 Dutchmen, only because I have not found one with the same floor plan.

Floor plan is every thing. It remains when all the other features are forgotten or accepted.

I gotta admit, that Viking 17 floorplan sure is nice. A full time dinette, so that you don't have to put away the bed every time you want to eat a meal. Luxury!

Kip. Love your floor plan. Seems Dart is no longer.

Skyline folded, was taken in by Evergreen, who folded. Ours is a hybrid of both. Trailer says Skyline, paperwork says Evergreen.
The same model was called Joey, EcoCamp, Nomad, and Layton.
There are used ones available.
Best floor plan in this size we have seen.
