I just noticed this photo of a TC that is on a for sale site is very large being 18ft overall with 12ft 4 inches floor.
How practical are large Truck Campers Off Road? It is actually a Custom build

Hard to say as you can't see the truck camper behind the low slung Class C (yeah, I get your game before you try to correct me).

Based on the pictures you posted, those may have the same wheelbase, engine, and frame, but that's about it.

Their website says they have 37s for instance, and not anywhere the same amount of overhang with more ground clearance.

Exactly they built for more severe use., the Truck base has a 10,000lb payload. . Their US Oregon factory uses US vehicles that are more like the original photos I posted. Vehicles at their HQ in Wollongong Australia very different to the US ones

The long overhang makes it more like a standard Class C. The "tc" part appears to be also pretty low to the ground.

The departure angle is quite bad, so I'd say it doesn't do off-road very well. It's a sliding scale with the longer distance from rear axle to bumper getting progressively worse. I find my 9 1/2 TC about as long as I want.
