Oye!!! that's a lot of snow in 18 hours!!! We had 36" one year in 24 hours and were stranded for 4 days. My driveway is 175' long, the snow thrower took a dive that year, my shoulder went south trying to shovel and the local guys were swamped! Needless to say we didn't get the camper out of the driveway that year for Thanksgiving! GREAT time to have a Bobcat!

This is the part of Colorado I do miss, out here on the road. It is still funny to me how some will park their TC's for the winter, when it is just another season to enjoy and explore! I hope all the work you did with your insulation project pays off this winter.

Merry Christmas, brian, and stay warm!

James,
Are you removing the stock Lance panel and if so what upgrades do you need to run the 135 watt panel? Thanks
Gary

Hey good morning Gary!
The panel i'm removing was not stock so no upgrades are needed. Not sure you would need to do anything even if it was stock.

Installed 2 Maxxair vent covers. One of them was on top of a Fan-tastic vent, which was a PITA to do. The other one was a piece of cake.

Garry,
Sorry for your luck with the weather. It was about 73 here yesterday. Got the insulation job finished. I guess I will have to wait till next summer when we head out west in the mountains to see how well I did. Got a good friend in Valdez. We were there summer of 2010. To much rain for me!

Still working on the insulation. Using the reflextix in the closet worked out really well. I can't believe how many places I have found that were not properly insulated. Still a few more spots to go today.

Isn't Reflectix a great product!! :BI wish that I had come up with the idea!:@
Still waiting for decent weather to go outside, and install the new grey water tank and insulate the floor space... Snow-Rain-Snow with 25-55 mph winds are not conducive to that sort of work...

Measured the area where my propane tank compartment is to see if it was big enough with modifications to fit a 31" Motorhome propane tank.

Rigged the Jeep for Flat Towing

1. Ran tailight wires through the Jeeps frame on each side.
2. Added an extra 12v socket and bulb to the existing tail lights.
3. Purchased Flat Tow bar from Walmart for $99
4. Added drop down/up receiver hitch so that we can keep our hitch hauler to store things and use as a step up into the camper.

I will be modifying the bunk area on our camper as well. My 3 year gets claustrophobic up there. Bigger openings and probably some doors that hinge on the top so they open up.

After yesterday's rain I found a puddle of water on my linoleum floor directly underneath my air conditioner so I spent most of the day running down a new gasket and installing it. Put a small piece of eternabond over an area of the roof membrane that had been scuffed by the corner of the air conditioner pan. The leveling pad for that corner was missing and allowed the pan to sag down and rub the roof. Installed new leveling pads and no more sag.
