Canada trip

We are planning an RV trip to Canada in June. We will be visiting Quebec, Woodstock,NB and Hopewell Rock, NB.

Other than passports is there anything else we need to be aware of, and what should we expect at the border.

Re. NB, remember Acadian Historical Village (living history) and the Covered Bridge at Hartland - it's the longest covered bridge in the world.

& if you should think about PEI the Confederation Bridge is 9 miles/13 km across the Northumberland Strait and a tourism site in it's own right.

As a Canadian that travels to the US. The US border guards are great. The Canadian border guards...not so much.

Don't worry about some booze they won't bother you about it.

You are allowed some alcohol and even if you are over paying the duty is still worth it. Travelling to a foreign country so no guns or ammo unless you are on a hunting trip. Remove sunglasses and shut off your engine when you get to the front of the line. Same procedure when going back.

DO NOT MISS QUEBEC CITY. The KOA on the west side of town is a good spot to stay. You can take a shuttle into the city. Suggest a bus tour first and then walk it. Great city. Great culture. Our favourite city in Canada.
