How long are y'all planning for next year?
No reservations, no solid dates yet but so far we are looking at about 140 days door to door. Not counting the air miles but the trailer miles will be a bit under 14,000 & figure at least a couple thousand worth of additional running around.

We are going to drive the new road from Inukik to Tuktoyaktuk NWT this summer. One way from our place is just about bang on 4000 km ( approx 2500 miles) wife was raised in Stewart BC so with visiting and travel we are figuring 90 plus days. We hope to be in Stewart for Canada Day ( July 1st) and โ would like to beโ in Inukik for the second week of July for the Great Northern Arts Festival. However that means driving fast north from Stewart, so we may just skip Stewart on the way north and stop there on the way south. However everything is open to change only thing for certain is we are going in 2018.
Soup.
We'll be traveling on the new road, we're planning that as part of our journey in 2018 heading up from Southern California after July 4th. Looks like you'll beat us there.

From Missouri, nine weeks and 10,000 miles. We wish we would have stayed longer in Stewart/Hyder to see the bears. That would be the advantage of going to Stewart later, but it will likely be crowded.
