I have never been to Rusty's, but I heard of a similar place in AZ. The Alamo Lake State Park, southeast of Havasu City. I have not been there either, YET. But the experience will be welcomed.

We stopped at Rusty's a few years ago on a trip west and found it a very pleasant spot. Huge sites and a fantastic view. Here are some pictures and comments from our visit.

We have just come back from Rusty's RV Ranch just North of Rodeo NM and only 23 miles from I 10. The sites are good sized and level and the facilities are exceptionally clean. The staff wonderful. However those are not the reasons that if you have the chance to spend at least 2 nights you should.
You need to experience sitting out at night looking at the sky in a dark sky area. The night sky with no light pollution and the silence can not be described only experienced.
If you find your self in New Mexico 5 miles East of Arizona on I 10 do your self a huge favor and experience this for your self.
