Hi I tried to do a search for adult only RV parks and i couldn't come up with anything. Can someone kindly point me in the right direction with a link ?
I would be looking for parks for summer 2019 in the western US and maybe Canada.... to get out of the desert heat. I'll have a class B.
If you have any suggestions for Wyoming, Montana... and north. OR anything in cooler places... Let me know
I am not familiar with any 55 plus parks in Wyoming or Montana. What you can do is look for parks with minimum facilities for children, extra fees for more than 2 guests per site and other things that might not be attractive for families. A lot of parks in these states (mine included) are what can best be described as family tolerant, rather than family friendly. No playgrounds, no pools, no game rooms or arcades, no campfires, not bargain priced, and will tell you that there isn't a lot for children to do in the park if you ask. Personally, we are fine with the KOAs in the area taking in the families and leaving the traveling adults to us.
Hi thanks for your responses. NO i am not looking for nudist places. HAHAHA ! I guess thats what adults only sounded like. sorry about that.
what i am looking for is peace and quiet. I dont have kids and i am just looking for places that are geared towards the retirement crowd. I have turned up a few places but i was wondering about others.
I know there are likely not alot of places... but i thought i would ask. i guess i'll be boondocking alot in national forests and such.
Thanks for the advice.... i'll check 55 plus on the search.
Most adult only are geared for winter use. Summer use are geared for families. Your best best in the West is to use national forest campgrounds or find some good boondocking spots. Still not strictly for adults but better than a RV park with a pool! ๐

As annoying as kids can be, I can't imagine going to a campground without seeing kids. Maybe just the thought of the +55 campgrounds with no kinds makes me face reality just how old I'm getting! I'll hang out with the children a bit longer.
There really isnโt much in the PNW for 55+ RV parks. There are a few in California, mostly in the desert ((still hot). There are lots of wonderful places to see, just donโt count on 55+. When kids are on vacation, campgrounds fill with families!
