Looking for your top ten Arizona, do not miss, attractions? We have been to Phoenix often so looking elsewhere but planning our bucket list trip for next year and looking for suggestions

Mogollon Rim area in the summer, 7000 - 7700' elevation, spectacularly beautiful views, several beautiful lakes, lots of forest service campgrounds, most popular recreation area in the state. From Payson, AZ, take Hwy 260 to the NE about 35 miles. The forest and the terrain around the Rim is much more beautiful than the forests around Flagstaff.

For the OP... Two words: Window Rock.

This is the Navajo Nation's spiritual and governmental center. If you're into even the slightest bit of Connection and Respect for our Earth Mother, go there. If not, even a modicum of respect and awe is increased tenfold by walking those sacred areas. It's also not that far from I-40, ergo, not far at all from the Four Corners Monument as well.

In many opinions, Quartzsite is not much good for anything except a lot of boondocking and associated issues.

You folks have covered it pretty well- but I didn't see the Pima air and Space Museum in Tucson- or Sabino Canyon.

Arizona has both mountain regions and desert regions. It is a RV'ers paradise 365 days a year.

From May thru Oct. head for the mountain regions of northern or eastern AZ where day time temperatures average in the 70's, nights in the upper 40's to 50's. Enjoy the grand canyon, Williams, Flagstaff, numerous lakes and streams in eastern AZ and national or state parks such as petrified forest, sunset crater, monument valley, indian ruins etc.

In the winter time the mountains turn cold and snowy from Nov-April. Head to the warmer areas of central and southern AZ. Much to see and do there as well.

Sedona is in a moderate climate zone. Not too hot in the summer and rarely gets just a dusting of snow in the winter. However, the very scenic 25 mile drive from Sedona to Flagstaff can get heavy snow as it winds thru Oak Creek Canyon.

As a retired couple with an pretty open schedule and from the mid-west, what's the best time to visit Arizona. Want take in the sights, local culture, and cuisine. When's best for weather, crowds and general camping conditions/availability? Know nothing about the state, but always wanted to see Sedona, as a fine arts major and amateur history buff.
