ATV Friendly campgrounds in New England?

I apologize if this has been covered already (I did try a search first). I would like to plan a trip somewhere in New England where I can bring my golf cart and the kids can bring their offroad go-karts for trail riding (obviously nothing too intense). Is there a list started somewhere already (or should we start one), that covers ATV friendly campgrounds or locations that are ATV friendly? Greatly appreciated. -John

Living in CT, Maine would be a bit of a hike. But not out of the question. VT & NH are very appealing. Curious if anyone has any experiences at specific campgrounds in either state that they would recommend. Tx.

Northern NH is VERY ATV friendly. The State has even posted several State Roads to allow ATVs.

We go to Abbot, Maine ATVing. We love it there, people are so friendly and helpful.
We are planning our trip to Abbot, ME again next fall. The only camp that I know of is the Balsam Woods Campground in Abbot, where the atv trails take off right from the campground. Up near Moosehead Lake. Don't know about the golfing near by.
Check the rule for the kiddos, don't know what they are. You will have to register in Maine, as they do not honor other states registrations.

Just Google, ATVing in Maine.

Have fun.

New Hampshire has 700 miles of ATV trails and Maine has more then that.

Stay out of Massachusetts. Children are not allowed on ATVs EVEN ON THEIR OWN PROPERTY!!! A kid stole an ATV from his friends father and killed himself so the Nazis here made it illegal for kids to ride ATVs...Period!

Maine has lots of prohibitions on ATVs....They hate them up there because they wreck the snowmobile trails and get into areas where fires might be started that fire trucks can't reach.

The Flat Landers from NY that have invaded Vermont don't like the noise. They don't like the smell of cow sh-t either. They move out of New York to get away from the city and then try to turn the country into the city....
