Beach Camping Gulf Coast

Does anyone have any suggestions for decent parks that offer beach camping? We have a 25ft C class and travel with 2 dogs. Would like to be on waterfront or very near to ocean. The furthest West we've been on the Gulf is Panama City Beach. We are now coming from Colorado. Thanks for any ideas.

Topsail Hill SP Santa Rosa Beach Florida near Destin. Very nice like an RV resort and the beaches are within the SP about a half mile away with an hourly shuttle, or you can walk, or ride bikes. Very popular area...

In that case…

The beach area at Goose Island SP in TX is right on the water. Matagorda Bay Nature Park and Quintana Beach County Park (both also in TX) are within a few yards of the beach. Grand Isle SP in LA is just the other side of the dunes with paths through to the beach.

The beach sites at the state park in Galveston, Tx. is great for the dogs. You can walk them on the beach. The town is a pretty good place for hanging out and sightseeing and food as well.

It sounds like to are interested in the FL Gulf Coast? I could make some suggestions but they are in TX, LA, MS and AL.

We are at Camp Gulf in Destin now, they have sites 200 sites but only 18 right on the beach...you can't get any closer. Better make reservations soon though.
