Need help on campsites here! We have a 35 foot 5th wheel camper and with the 5th wheel, it extends to about 38 foot. Any idea what sites we can fit in here. The park ranger told us that we will not fit in most sites there and that we need a 40 foot site. Other parks we have camped at we fit in the 35 foot sites,. Thanks for any help.

Trust the Ranger. Believe me he/she does not want to have to go in there and cut tree limbs when you get stuck, fill in the holes where you parked off the site, or listen to you complain. Find another site. lizzie (aka "Ranger Mom")

Just wondering...Why don't you believe someone that is there day in and day out, and works there? The ranger.

I should have clarified. The w/e we would like to go had one 40 foot site left but the picture had trees extending over and the area backing in may be a concern for our roof. Not having been to this park, I wanted to ask if by chance the 35 foot site would work.

are you saying there are no longer sites for when you want to go? I see on www.reserveamerica.com that there are 40 and 45' back in sites at Blue Springs. You can click on "site list" and see which ones are longer. Most Florida state parks are in natural settings and the sites can be short. I would take the ranger's recommendation.
