And don't forget a trip to "Lambert's" for their "tossed rolls" ....in Sikeston I think, (it's not too far away but I might have that spelling wrong).

Yes there is one in Sikeston but you want to head north on 65 from Branson to Springfield. Lamberts will have a big sign on the right telling you which exit off 65. Definately a fun place to eat. They open at 11 and we have been there that the folks were waiting outside almost the width of the building.
Enjoy "my town"

Lots of previous posts on these subjects. Search this Forum for Branson in the RV Parks section for campground ideas then search for Branson in all sections and search the results for `shows'.

Join the Escapees club, $39.00 a year and stay at Turkey Creek SKP Park in Hollister 1.5 miles to Branson. Nice park. Rates far better then surrounding parks. I'm here now and Branson is one packed town! Make a reservation as soon as you join. You won't regret it.Plan a side trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas for a very pleasant surprise. Little Switzerland of the Ozarks. About an hour drive. A good break from the hustle and bustle of Branson.

DW and I can second Ozark Country CG. We really enjoyed staying there while visiting Branson last year. We did find out that our GPS had the wrong location for the CG. If you go there make sure you use the on-line address. We were told others had the same problem.

I second Ozark Country CG..but watch that turn as you come off the main road(right tight turn). Very nice CG and it's a Passport America Park so if your staying two weeks, it would be advantageous to join. OH...and only a couple of show's in two weeks...wow, that's what I call restraint......Enjoy!!

Go to a reunion every 3rd week in September with my unit from Viet Nam and have stayed at the city park-Lakeside. Good Sam discount and if you book 6 nights you get the 7th free. Sites face the door of you neighbor and most don't have a lot of room between them.We like it because it is almost in the older section of town and shopping nearby. Tried reservations as it has always been our stay at park last week and they could not accommodate a 36'. We did get reservations at Ozark Country for the first time. Ozark Country has a wide number discounts and are cheaper than Lakeside. It is also rated near the top on RVPark Reviews. We are arriving on 9/16. If you stay there look us up. We will have a Crusader with American and Texas flags flying. If you are currently or former military you are invited to our reunion.
